Can I refund part of an order?+
Yes. Choose specific eligible lines or return less than their remaining refundable amounts. To refund the entire remaining purchase, include every eligible line for its remaining amount. Previous and unresolved refunds reduce what is available to refund again.
Which orders are eligible?+
The order must be paid, with a customer and usable payment evidence. Requested amounts must fit the remaining refundable amount on supported lines. Online refunds also need sufficient available balance and a supported original payment method. Orders containing discounts, taxes, subscriptions or donations are not currently supported by the refund endpoint.
Where does the money go?+
For an online payment, Inttegro resolves the refund destination from the original paid order. You do not enter a different bank account or wallet when creating the refund. Supported offline-paid orders use an offline settlement record; your team returns the money outside Inttegro and records the settlement separately.
When should I tell the customer their refund is complete?+
Check the recorded outcome first. Pending means the request was accepted; processing means execution has started. Neither confirms that money has returned. Follow the refund until it succeeds or reports another final outcome. Timing depends on the payment provider and method; this page does not promise a fixed arrival time.
Can I cancel or retry a refund?+
Cancellation is available only while the refund is pending and processing has not started. A processing refund cannot be canceled or safely replaced with another request. For a failed refund, inspect the reported reason and resolve any retryable condition before creating a new refund.
Does a refund change the original order?+
The original sale remains intact. The refund records the returned amount and selected lines separately. For online refunds, funds are reserved while the refund is unresolved, and successful money movement is represented in balance transactions for reconciliation.
